Sleepy D comes from the same camp as Oakland’s D-Lo. A relative newcomer to the scene, Sleepy D got his break in 2009 with his street anthem, “Sleepy F*cking D” which got a lot of viral action during the jerking era. His last album, Sleep Deprivation proved that he can rap with the best of them and create songs that are memorable and also slap in the club. The new album, Don’t Go To Sleep features D-Lo and fellow Bay Area rapper, Hongry.
