Danko Jones

Rock Supreme

Danko Jones Rock Supreme
$13.99 New

Hailed by Metal Hammer as “one of the most ridiculously entertaining and exciting live bands on the planet,” DANKO JONES returns with their most aptly-titled album yet – “A Rock Supreme.” The group's debut recording for M-Theory Audio was produced by Garth “GGGarth” Richardson at his Farm Studios complex in Vancouver, B.C., where the band deftly channeled the power of the riff (and the cowbell!) while creating 11 of the catchiest hard rock anthems that beg to be heard on stage.

To that end, while the band's touring activity in recent years has centered on Europe – where they're a mainstay of the summer festival circuit, and where they've participated in major tours with the likes of Guns N' Roses and Motorhead – the group plans to spend much of 2019 touring America. The group is no stranger to the States – they've previously supported the likes of Clutch, Volbeat (who invited front man Danko Jones to sing on their #1 active rock hit “Black Rose”) and Flogging Molly, in addition to performing on the 2013 Uproar our alongside Alice In Chains, Coheed & Cambria and Jane's Addition – but 2019 will mark a renewed focus on pounding the pavement across the U.S., beginning with a February tour that will feature openers Nashville Pussy and Prima Donna. The group will also join Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, Overkill and other heavy hitters on the inaugural Megacruise this fall.
