Description:
A young Italian orphan is adopted by his father's secretary, Mary and settles into life in a slightly eccentric British refugee community of pre-WWII Florence, Italy. Mary and her circle of friends live a sheltered existance that they feel is protected by Mussolini himself. Until Italy joins Germany and changes their status to enemies.
